1964 - Eitel built the 45-foot steel tug for Everett’s American Tow Boat

In October 1959, Dick Eitel bought Fishermen’s Boat Shop from Carl Anderson. In the 1960's, Eitel got into steel work, changing the facility for wooden boats into a shop for boats of all kinuds. One of the first steel vessels of any size was a 45-foot tug built in 1964 for Everett’s American Tow Boat Company.
