2008 - Eitels Business Sold

March 2008 marked the end of an era when the Eitels family-owned firm – operated by Dick and then his son for nearly a half century – was sold to Todd Shipyard, Inc. As a result of the acquisition of Everett Shipyard by Todd Shipyards Corp., Everett Shipyard's name was changed to Everett Ship Repair & Drydock, Inc. They continue work under this subsidiary named.
